The Clerk of Works reported that he had examined the continuation of the Purple Peak road for the purpose of carrying ft towards Mr Magee's property, and also to Long Bay saddle. The report stated that the line of road was good as laid off by Mr Broderick, and suggesting that the surveyor's line be followed.
