Outside the above, however, we have to report a quieter tone as prevailing within the last few days. wheftt.—For some choice lines 3s 6d has been paid. For good milling 3s 4d to 3s s£d is tHe quotation. There are ready buyers for chick descriptions. Oats.—We have -no improvement to note in the value of oats, the price of which have steadily receded. Milling are quoted at 2s 9d ; good feed at 2s 7il to 2s Bd. Barley.—ln this grain we have likewise little or no change to notice. Prices for all descriptions remaining about the same. Potatoes. —Values remain about 50s" to 60s. Flour continues at £8 to £9 per ton, according to brand and size of percel. Grass Seed.—We have no change to bring under notice in ryegrass. Good samples are quoted at 4e 6d to 4s 9d ; inferior in proportion. The sales made have been exceedingly limited. A large purchase of Northern cocksfoot has been made at a price withheld. Dairy Produce.—Butter, 10d ; cheese, 6d to 6£d; hams and bacon, in cloth, Bd.
