Akaroa arrived in harbor on Saturday evening, towing in the topsail echooner Clyde, which was lately wrecked on the Ninety-mile Beach. This vessel was purchased as she lay on the beach by Mr G. Black, of this town, Mr W. Wood, and Mr Whit©. After various difficulties and delays these gentlemen finally succeeded in launching her, and she was towed round as above stated. She is a fine commodious vessel, and does not appear to be injured by her prolonged sojourn on dry land. We congratulate Mr Black and his coadjutors on the successful issue of their plucky venture. The Akaroa left for Lyttelton again on Sunday morning. The Clyde is etill lying here.
