ROAD BOARD ELECTIONS.
To the Editor of the Akaroa Mail. Sib, —Through the medium of your paper I should like to draw the attention of those whose business it is to look after the elections of members of the Road Board. I consider that they would confer a great boon on the electors if they had three polling places instead of one. It would be the means of a great many electors recording their votes that are not able to do so under the existing regulations. And the extra expense entailed by the Board would be nothing considering the benefit the district would derive by having one at Wainui, one at the Head of the Bay, and and another at Akaroa. I conclude, hoping those in power will take the hint, and remain, Yours, &c, EDWIN CHAPPELL.
