Nominations for Port Victoria Handicap will close March Ist, at 8 p.m., addressed to the Secretary, Wheatsheaf Hotel, Head of the Bay, Lyttelton. Weights to be decided on March sth. Acceptances on March 10th. The district to comprise Port Victoria Road Board District, Lyttelton, Purau, Gebbie's Valley, and Kaituna. All horses running in district races to be in the district three months prior to date, and ; to be boua fide owned in the district. Canterbury Jockey. Club Rules to be adhered to. The decisions of the Stewards to be final. No person allowed to enter any horse unless subscribing at least one guinea to the funds. ASSESSMENT COURT. AKAROA AND WAINUI ROAD DISTRICT. X M'GREGOR VALUER of the Akaroa and Wainui Road District, and give notice that the ROLL so prepared will be OPEN FOR INSPECTION at the Road Board Office, Head of the Bay, from the 22nd day of March to the 22nd day of April next. All objections to the said assessment must be made in the form of .the 4th schedule of " The Rating Act, 1876," and a copy must be left at the Road Board Office, Head of the Bay, not less than seven days prior to the sitting of the said Court, which will be held at the Road Board Office, Head of the Bay, on Wednesday, April 30. .
