Another difficulty has occurred, owing to the seamen who have refused to re- „ sume work demanding back pay from the time of the strike. Other similar claims are made, which are supported by the Seamen's Union. The A.S.N, Com- : pany's Board are considering the demand. Operations on the site of the Inter* . national Exhibition buildings were commenced to-day. >. The Southern train ran. off. ihe line last night. No serious damage was done.
