The Mayor elect gives n grand banquet to councillors on Wednesday. Tenders, to be received until 21st prox., are invited for reclamation for central railway station, Wellington, Dec. 16.
Government have received intimation that the wife of the suspected murderer Hiroki died last night from grief at her husband's position.
