Thacker applied for a transfer of the license of this hotel from himself to one Vickery. Mr Vickery was not present, and by some mistake the Customs receipt for the fee was not to hand. Under these circumstances the Bench declined to grant the transfer, and informed the applicant that his license would be cancelled unless he carried put the condition already imposed of residing on the premises. Mr Thacker promised to comply with the condition and withdrew. FORSYTH ARMS HOTEL, LITTLE KIvER. In regard to this house, the police reported that the stable was still occupied by the coach horses. Mr Olphert explained that the coach horses were only put in there when no travellers required accommodation for their horses. He was building another stable as quickly as possible, but in the meantime he thought it rather hard if he were not allowed to use the stable for coach horses when it was not required by th& public. The Court retired to deliberate, and on resuming informed the licensee that they adhered to their former decision, and that he must clear out the coach horses immediately, keeping the stable free for the use of travellers. The police were instructed to see that this was done, otherwise the license would be cancelled. HAINES , HOTEL. The police reported that the improvement required by the Court was being carried out. The Court then adjourned.
