BEING relieved from the arduous duties of a councillor, I (that is, what is left of me) shall now be at liberty to devote more time to my business and the wants of my patrons. I have a large assortment of Files on hand, especially suitable for schoolmasters, B.A's, or in fact anyone doing a large trade in bills. Also, a nice assortment of Jewelry, suitable for presents to sweethearts, &c. My stock of Fireworks and Chinese Crackers are not to be beaten in Akaroa either for noise or price. I reckon I Jiave about 6,450 yards of Paperhangings, from 4d to 4s per piece. Sheep-shearing requisites of all kinds on hand, and whitewash in any quantity. Also, a few No. 10 second-hand knickerbockers. Persons about to marry will find it to their advantage to come to me first and see the prices of my Flat-irons, Double Bedsteads, Toasting Forks, Longhandled Brooms, &c. Note the Address — H.
