Worship the Mayor.) Civil Cases.
O'Reilly v Little.—Claim, £3 for use of loose box for an entire horse for a season. Mr Nalder appeared for the plaintiff, and as defendant denied the whole transaction, asked for an adjournment for a fortnight to procure further evidence. Case adjourned accordingly.
Akaroa and Wainui Road Board v 11. Hewer.—Claim, 7s Gd for rates. Judgment by default for amount claimed and
costs
Meech v Annatid.—Claim £37, balance due on a promissory note. Mr Nalder for plaintiff. Judgment by default for amount claimed and costs.
The Court then adjourned,

DRUNKENNESS,
William Boyle, having been convicted of this offence four times within the year, was sent to gaol for a month under th« Vagrant Act.
