"Potatoes are being forced, and prices -are nominally 45s to 50s. _ Flour shows no improvement in enquiry. Millers quote £10 to £10 10s, but for parcels £9 5s to £10 would be accepted. Grass Seed.—Rye grass is quoted at 6s to 7s for good samples ; medium and in • ferior, 4s 6d to 5s 6d. Dairy Produce. —Butter is a shade more plentiful and prices are easier. Good lots are worth 9£d to lOd. Cheese is in fair ■demand at 6£ to 6d. Hams and bacon, in cloth, 7£d to U.
