AGENCY,) Adelaide, Oct. 15. Arrived—Chimborazo, from Sydney. An additional 38 miles of the Northern railway to Tamworth was opened by the Governor to-day. Mr Ward moves in the Assembly. tomorrow that tenders be called forthwith for a monthly service between Aden and Adelaide, with permission for the steamer to proceed to Sydney ; also that negotiations should be opened with the governments of New South Wales, Tasmania, and New Zealand, to secure co- , operation.
Brisbane, Oct. 15. It is stated that a goldfield has been discovered 500 miles west of Blackwall, in a large quarz mountain, with a good show of gold.
