Worsley, for allowing five cows to wander in a public thoroughfare, was, in his absence, fined 10s and costs. Civil Cases. Prince v. Libeau.—This was a case in which judgment was reserved from the previous Court, day. Hi.s Worship, in giving judgment, said that the defendant had, by various, acts of his own, really taken over the buildings from the contractor. The, key of> one was in lire possession; ho had painted both and cobbed one, also- -built brick piles under them. Every act' of Libeau's showed he had taken possession.. sand' if the cjottages were not completed in terms of the specifications,! he should hot have done so until they were. Judgment would be for the plaintiff for the. amount;claimed with costs. . i ( . Amiand v. 'Greening , . , —A- c'laihi'for'tho sum of £1 10-v goods supplied. Judgment by default for amount claimed, with costs. ■ ! The Court then adj6ufned.
