STOCK AND STATIONS.
Owing to the great scarcity of feed throughout the country during this winter, - owners of stock of all descriptions have •been compelled to sell at very low rates, . and in consequence the prices of store sheep and cattle have been anything but en.conragingto graziers, for which description, however, we anticipate a rise towards -■the setting in of tho spring of the year. The competition for fat sheep has been more animated of late, and at the Addington yards on Wednesday this description sold at an advance on last week's rates, and notwithstanding' the large supply brought forward the biddings were keen Beef, best quality, sold at an average of 27s 6d per lOOlbs. Interior brought from _3sto 25s per lOOlbs, for which descriptions the biddings were languid. In stores there was again a dull sale, prices ranging a shade below last week's .xates.
