GRAIN AND PRODUCE.

Business during the week has continued ■very dull, and most of the transactions '< have been confined to hand to mouth parcels. While the outside market has ■ been exceedingly quiet the home demand . has been very limited. Potatoes. —Last week's report regard- . ing potatoes still applies. We give the same quotation, 50s lo 555, but the market at present is in such an exceptional position that it is .exceedingly difficult to convey a correct idea -of its true aspect. Flour.— The tone of the market is quiet, and buyers can purchase at easier rates.
Grass Seed.—ln our last wo noted the beginning o± an inquiry, and which has been more pronounced during the last few days. It is yet, however, so slight as to have no effect on values.
Dairy Produce.—Good butter is not easily got, and is worth 9|d to 10d; cheese, 5M to Gd; hams and bacon are only in moderate request.
