GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
Potatoes. —We quote 50s to 55a, "with a firm market, though only a fair inquiry. Buyers hesitate in purchasing at these prices, preferring to draw their supplies for any order s that may come to hand from the heavy stocks held by one or two agents or dealers.
Floor remains about the same. The demand for bran and sharps still exceeds the supply. Grass Seed. —There is little doing in rye grass or cocksfoot although we have to note the beginning of an inquriy for clovers and other seeds.
Dairy Produce. —Butter, unchanged, 9d to9£d; cheese, sJto6d.
