Sir,—lt is not •* on, Stanley, on," but . " Diogenes" to the charge. 'Don't you hear the war cry of " Aladdin," who is to the front with his wonderful lamp of the genii power! "Ratepayer" has commenced the attack with his bi«_r guns, and 0 " Pigeon Bay" has opened out in skirmishing order. The enemy is stnngly and it will require our united forces to dislodge him. Therefore, " Diogenes." do not desert us in this our hour of need.
