Sir, —At the meeting of the Lyttelton Harbor Board, held last Friday, the question of Sunday labor in Port was very fully and earnestly discussed, and the following resolution carried :—" That .with a view to discourage Sunday labor in the Port of Lyttelton, the Harbormaster receive instructions that, unless through stress of weather, accident, or by special order of the Chairman of the Board, no vessel is allowed to load or discharge cargo at the Port of Lyttelton on Sunday.
