FROM THE LYTTELTON TIMES. Christchurch, Friday Evening, GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
The recent telegrams have been of such a nature as to have had a Blight bearing on actual transactions. We have to record an improvement on the business of the preceding week, which is all the more noticeable from the' dulness that has for some time back being the leading feature. Potatoes continue to be shipped in xjuantity. They aie saleable at 455. Flour is quoted at £11 to £12 according to brand. With the approach of winter, we have to note a freer inquiry for oatmeal.
Dairy Produce.—The market is very quiet, with no change in prices.
