CORRECTION.
To the Editor of the Alearoa Mail. Sir, —Will you kindly allow me to correct an error in your report re County Council meeting, on the sth inst. Where your report reads that I asked whether any moneys were allocated to the Council to be dealt with by them without adopting the Act, I said — " Was there any moneys allocated to the Council that could not be dealt with without adopting the Act." Again, your report reads—" Mr Barker asked.where funds were to be obtained, in case of the Act being adopted, up to the 30th June next." I said—" Whero were funds to be obtained, if the Act was adopted, A-hen all our funds were allocated up to the 30th June next." By correcting these little mistakes, you will oblige.—Yours, &c, JOHN B. BARKER. Little Akaloa, 9th March.
