STOCK AND STATIONS.

On Wednesday last, at Addington, the bulk of the sheep yarded were taken up for stores, the trade not operating to any great extent. Top quality mutton was equal to about lfd per lb, whilst inferior quality was in brisk demand for stores. Beef.—There was a short supply of good quality yarded, and for these there was not great demand. Good beef may be quoted at 27s 6d ; inferior, 255. Pigs are in demand for stubble feeding, and move off briskly for this purpose. Store Cattle are still inquired for, but buyers were not disposed to give up to owners' values for best bullocks yarded.

Store Sheep are in active inquiry, with an upward tendency, farmers being anxious to secure stock for stubble grazing, and with the assurance of a good turnip crop to follow, a steady and increasing demand may be confidently looked for.
