STOCK AND STATIONS.
Station Properties.—There are nowa few inquiries for station properties, and in & short time there will be some transactions in this fine to report.
At Addington on Wednesday last, 3763 sheep and lambs, 371 cattle, and 67 pigs were yarded for the week. In fat mutton there was a decided improvement, and a rise equal to ls was established for fat sheep. There was an over-supply of beef for the trade requirements, consequently there was a fall in price, and with the exception of one or two choice lots, beef did not realise more than an average of 23s per 100. The pigs yarded were only in store condition, and were bought up for stubble feeding to go south. Store Cattle are in more active demand, and young, healthy cattle, in thriving condition, realised full rates. Store Sheep there are many inquiries for, and there will be a large business done in them during next month amongst graziers.
