The Boston Investigator objects to the statement of a clergyman that " atheism tends to immorality," and gives a list of derelict clergymen which cannot be matched, it thinks from the atheistic ranks or from the other professions. Among other items is this: "In • the Penitentiary at, Auburn, N. V., there are' twenty-seven clergymen, but/only thirteen doctors and thrte printers." Verdi is. the Italian delegate; to the Paris Exhibition.
