"LITTLE RIVER'S" LETTER.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE AKAROA MAIL. Sir, —A letter appears in your paper of the Ist inst., signed •' Little River." and professes to give the Akaroa people advice. Let meenquirehow longhas " Little River" been qualified to give advice to Akaroa people, or what has he ever done or said that would entitle his advice to receive consideration. Over and over again the supposed writer has been tried and invariably found wanting. Like the dog in the manger, he can do nothing himself but snaps and snarls at those who can. Give advice to Akaroa people indeed, let him first prove his fitness, or go and clear his scrub. He may have capacity for that if for nothing else.—Yours &c. RICHARD REDCAP.
