Bridge attended p'nrlhc Board, and asked if the award of the arbitrers in) Mr Inman's case had been received, stating' that Mr E. CLatter and himself had written out and signed the award, and had handed . it to Mr Nalder, for the.purpose of having it drawn up in proper legal form. The Chairman explained that it was unnecessary to have handed it to a lawyer, the signature of the arbitrers being sufficient. : " t •;''.. Mr Bridge said in that case he. would endeavour to find Mr Nalder, obtain *the award from him, and lay it before .the Board at the present meeting. Subsequently, however, Mr Bridge returned, saying he; had been . unable to see Mr Nalder, who was away in Christchurch.
