Wellington, N0v422, 9.30 p.m. * Debate now proceeding on the Finan-| cial proposals of Government. Gisborne has spoken and promised to support; proposals. The majority of members! are in favour of colonialising the land fund, and there appears no doubt .of some such measure as that proposed being carried. , The intention of the Government as stated in the is that all the land fund accruing uphill 31st December next, will belong to ""the , Provinces, the change to take effect after that date. The Opposition is no.t so unanimous as it was, nor is it liffely that the Government will be turned out.
