Wellington, October 8
Last of the Roman Catholic Mission Services by Rev. Father Henneberry, held last night at St. Mary's, about 1000 people present. The Rev. gentleman will visit other principal towns in New Zealand. During his stay he has administered temperance pledges to over 1500 people. It is stated that Government will still command a majority on forthcoming division, in consequence of certain unexpected defections from Opposition side, as well as from G6vernment party.
