ORIGINAL CORRESPONDENCE.
-. o— ——' ' [We are at all times ready to give expression to every shade of opinion, but in no case do we hold ourselves responsible for the sentiments of our correspondents. « TOO MUCH BRIDGE." TO THE EDITOR OF THE AKAROA MAIL. BiR,~-In your report of the Mutual Improvements entertainment, I noticed you remarked that the only fault found with the programme was " there being too much of Mr Herbert Bridge's vocalisation." I sincerely hope Mr Bridge's feelings were
not hurt by the ill-judged remark. I canr assure you the only one who gave vent to such a sentiment was a person of mercantile pursuits, whom I always connect with the spirit of a dcf un-'t coach driver, from his partiality to sitting on a box. lam sure that every one will agree with me, that without Mi Bridge's assistance the affair would have been very tame, and not nearly the success it was. Yours, &c., M.A.M.I.A. Akaroa, 25th September, 1877.
