DOOR STEPS.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE AKAROA MAIL." Sir, —By yonr paper I see that Councillor WagstafE seems to have a grievance against my neigbboure'and my door steps. I think if Councillor Wagstaff would, in the first place, remove the nuisance of pig styes, and purify the atmosphere about his own premises, he would be. better employed than in trying-to injure his neighbours. Three years since some of my neighbours, and myself, were prohibited from keeping pigs upon our premises. Yet Councillor Wagstaff is allowed to create a nuisance, in this way, without being interfered with by the Inspector.
I am, yours &c.,
J. BEECHER,
