A CORRECTION.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE AKAROA MAIL. Sir,—Allow mo to correct your report of the Akaroa and Wainui Road Board, in that part referring to forest trees. I stated I applied to R. S. Harman Esqr., Chairman of the Domain Board, for trees to plant two school ground's, and at the same time for sufficient to plant half-an-acre for the Road Board. The Government gardener has no power to supply trees without an order, from the Secretary of that Board. And I think it very scant courtesy to those gentlemen ' who ■ constitute the Domain Board if I wad to allow.it to pass without correction. —1 am, &c, HENRY PIPER. .
