Tuesday, June 5,1877. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq.^R.M.) CATTLE TRESPASS. The following persons were charged with allowing cattle to wander on the public road. E. Hooper, allowing one horse to be at large in Grehan Vailey road. No appearance. Fined 5s and costs. George Wascoe, allowing one horse to be at large in Grehan Valley.' Fined 5s and costs. Thomas Brough, allowing two cows to be at large in Barry's Bay. Fined ss' and costs. f BHADBOLT V. ARCHER. Judgment was given in this case. His Worship said it was not a question - for experts, whether the mare was in foal or not, and as the defendant had proved no special bargain, he must abide by the terms of the advertisement. The judgment wquld be for the amount claimed with costs, and if the mare proved not in foal—-Shadbolt would have to'return the amount claimed.
