PIGEON BAY ROAD BOARD.

Also enclosing plans of proposed roads'to Kay's Gully and Budua's sections.' It was agreed that the diversion of xoad through Mr. Hay's property be proceeded with first. Upon Mr. Pitcaithly's motion, it was agreed that the clerk should advertise sameaccording, to Public Works Act. Mr. Ashwin made application for a road through Mr. Kirk's, property to the beach, Decanter's 8ay....;..',. , • The Clerk was instructed to write to the executors of late Jl Cook asking the price of land. • From Messrs Gunning & Co., asking for £100 on contract. Upon Mr. Hay's proposal it was agreed to give them £50, and that the clerk inform them that the Board will not advance any more unless the metal be stacked and measured according to contract. . The Board agreed to call tenders for falling a.chain and clearing 15ft for road to Mcintosh Bay. Length of road .. 45 chains. ...
