FROM THE LYTTEI.'L'ON Ti»,lE3. Ciirisloliurcli, Friday Evening. GRAIN AND PRODUCE. The last advices from Victoria report a large business done in breadstuff, and that an appreciable advance has taken place in wheat, flour, and oats. This activity followed the publication oC the agricultural statistics of that Colony, and telegraphic advices, since received, inform us that the advance has been maintained.

In the grain market here business during , the week has not been marked by any special feature. Although many transactions cannot bo recorded the prevalent feeling has been that of firmness. Wheat. —Large shipments continue to be made to England. The millers stilloutbid the exporters in securing the best samples, and are giving 6s to 6s Cd ; while sundry lots of really prime have changed hands at Gs Gd. Most of the slightly damaged samples offering find an outlet in export, and buyers can readily be found at last week's quotations. In this class of wheat some transactions have taken place in second hands, at satisfactory prices. ■ Oats, though quiet, are \evy firm, and any enquiry has principally affected milling kinds for export; prices range from 2s 4d to 2s 6d; best milling, 2.s 7rl.

Barley is unaltered, and outside a moderate demand for feeding , sorts,' there is nothing of interest to mention.

Potatoes. —The bulk of the orders for immediate execntiouhavingbeen completed buyers are not so anxious to purchase at the price lately ruling. Fanners, however are indisposed to accept the price offered, and are now busily engaged in pitting. We quote them at 42s to 4.55. Flour commands £16 for export parcels, with a good business. The demand for bran and sharps still continues much beyond the supply.
