THEREBY give notice, in terms of tho 42nd sec. of the new Corporation Act, 1876, that the BURGESS LIST now lies at the office of the Town Clerk, and may be INSPECTED without fee, by all persons interested therein, during all office hours, until the fifteenth day of April inclusive. By the 43rd sec. of the same Act, it is provided that any person whose name is on the Valuation Roll, may object to the Burgess List on any of the following grounds:— 1. That the name of any person on the valuation roll is not upon the burgess list. 2. That the value of any property in the valuation roll is not correctly stated in the burgess list. 3. That the name of any person is on the burgess list, which is not on the valuation roll. 4. That any person on the burgess list is not entitled to the number of votes, or is entitled to a greater number of votes than that stated on the burgess list. All such objections must be in writing, under the hand of the objector, in the form in the 6th schedule, and must be addressed to the Town Clerk, and delivered at his office on or before the fifteenth day of April.
