AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
0 Friday, March 9, 1877. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R.M.) TRESPASS. E. St. John was charged with permitting fb r e head of cattle to wander at large. The case was diamissed, as it was found that the cattle got out of defendant's paddock owing to a roadman not putting up the fence. KISSELL V. WARD. To recover the sum of £5 Bs. Defendant pleaded indebted. Judgment for amount, with costs. D. M'KAY V. WILSON. This was a judgment summons to show cause why a verdict amounting to £10 19s had not been paid. Defendant offered to pay £1 per month from the Ist April. The Bench made an order accordingly. THACKER V. HANSEN. ■ This was a judgment summons, and both parties failing to appear, the case was adjourned till Tuesday. THOMPSON AND ANOTHER V. HEWITT. : This case was adjourned till Tuesday. The Court then adjourned.
