A wry large shag (says the Dunedin Star) was shot on Friday by Mr. M. Smith, in Mr. J. Fulton's employ. On the fish destroyer being opened, five trout, five or six inches long, were found closely packed in his gullet, in which there were also evidences that he had devoured at least a dozen more. This shows the destructive powers of these birds.
