THE HOSPITAL.
TO THE EDITOR OP THE AKAROA MAIL. Sir,—Would you kindly inform the public as to the time the Akaroa Hospital will be handed over to the County Council, so that a committee may be appointed, and a properly qualified medical officer elected to take charge. Inasmuch as several serious destitute eases have had already, to depend upon what charitable and medical men of the district may furnish gratuitously.—l am, &c, EDUCATION. [It is hard to say whether the County Council intend to adopt the Act in its entirety, but failing its doing so, we presume the management of the Hospital will be vested in a committee as in other places. —Ed. A. M.]
