! i [ AIJ r E HTJSEMBNT . ] TO THE PUBLIC. ■ Having, to my very great surprise, seen in the New Zealand Government Gazette ot Jaruary the 4th instant, and the two subsequent publications, an announcement ot certain allots merits of land on the east bauK of the TamaKi creeK being about to be submitted to public sale,on Thursday the day of February next, the same being my fairly purchased, and undisputed property (as proved before the Land Commissioners); I do therefore most earnestly protest against, and deny the seizure and sale ot all those allotments, or portions ot laud, specified in the ‘aforesaid announcement in the •New Zealand Government Ga'zette, the said lands being my | property, j And, in order that no person . may hereafter unknowingly be led to purchase any portion or portions ot those lands, which are mine, and wnich were fairly purchased from native chiefs—j their rightful owners, in tl>e year f 1836 (one thousand eight hundred ! aud thirty-six), as proved before the Land Commissioners in 1842 J (one thousand eight hundred and forty-two), J do in this public advertisement give the ries of the said lands, viz ; ...ggpjj On thejwest,|by the TamaKi creeK, running over the portage Otahuhu into ManuKau ; on the north and north-east, by the hay or inlet niuningbetweenfPaiheKe and Mar-tetai, on the south, by the Wairo creeK t on the south and soutlrwest, by the Owarata, running in the direction ,of PapaKura, William Thos .
