We had promised ourselves the pleasure of publishing a report this wee* ot the meeting at EpI som in favor of a new church in the Windsor district, — but it is not always true that 'where there iis a will there is a way’; ‘proverbs are liars’—as Mary Queen of Scots said at Fotheringay Castle. fVenre obliged to postpone our report till next wee* : in the j mean time we can ’ say, that there were no less than five canj didates for the honor ot presenting to the service,(humbly speaKing) of our MaKer.a part of their ground. The subscriptions were liberal, and the choice fell to the lot of our triend Mr. Edward Rich, we shall give full particulars hereafter. /Wednesday was a blanK day in the Committee room of the AucKland Dispensary : we only notice the fact that the gentlemen composing thecommittee may be reminded that, the habitual punctuality of their Secretary is deserving ot some little respect.
