The Great Comet of 1856.—A Limerick paper assures us that .the great comet of 1856 has actually made its appearance. It says, “ A gentleman of the highest respectability has just informed us that he saw on Friday night, for the third time, what appears from his description to be the long expected comet of 1856, the re-appearance of which this year has been so long foretold. It had the appearance of a globe of fire as large as an orange, with a broad tail of light extending about eighteen inches from the body. On Thursday night it was seen again.”
