A match between the Chatto Creek and Ophir teams was played on Saturday, and resulted in a win for the former by 12 runs. Scores:—Ohatto Creek, 53 and 51 ; Ophir, 40 and 53, M'Grail (Chatto Creek) 18, and Smith (Ophir) 17, were the highest scorers. The Clyde and Alexandra Cricket Clubs met on the former's ground on Saturday last, an interesting game resulting in a win for Alexandra by 32 runs. _ The teams only played one innings each, thetotal scores being:— \lexandra, 132; Clyde. 100. For Clyde the .only players to get into double figures were W. Stevens (55), W. Reid (12). Ann S. Stevens (12). For Alexandra, L. Churchill was top scorer with 33, W. King being a good second with 23, besides whom Smith (18), Egginton (15). Webb (12), and Morgan (10) succeeded in getting into double figures.— = — The Lowburn and Alexandra teams meet on the local ground on Saturday next. The Clyde and Chatto Creek oricke* teams met on the tatter's ground on Saturday. 12th, when Chatto Creek proved victorious by 65 runs.' Chatto Creek made 54 in their first innings, and 87 in the second, (Lewis 35, M'Grail 28, and Wood 28 being the highest scorers. Clyde responded with 47 and 29, Fitches 19 and Macgeorge 11 being the only ones to reach double figures.
