UNDAUNTED GOLD MINING COMPANY. MATARANUI.

The directors of the above Company * have issued to shareholders the following report for the half year ending September 30th: — '« During the six months ending 30th September, 1904, gold to the value of* £1450 17s 5d was obtained, and from Bundry accounts £5 7s. The expenditure for same period was £852 19s showing a profit of £603 5s sd, and a dividend of five shillings per share has been paid during the six months. The ground worked during the half year has not been rich, but the profit has been good -for the half year, •which included the winter months. The prospects obtainable in the ground now being worked are fairly good, and likely to continue- Nothing has yet. been done with the new and probably better ground mentioned in last report as acquired on the northern boundarv of the Company's claim, and incorporated with the Company's previous holding. . "Sour directors are convinced that systematic work on approved lines is best in the long run in the Company s interests, and are confident that for a number of years, &omany*hat they outrun the existence of mos= commer rial companies, good interest on the Company's capital may be obtained. Your directors during the naif year purchased an addition to the ComSanv's water-right* for the comparatively small sum of £6O, the water appertaining to which can be carried in the existing head-race. The electrical lighting plant, installed in the mine in 1902, is giving every satisfaction, and enables night work to be carried on to much better advantage" '
