E'ght members of the Alexandra Golf Olub took part in the contest for the Championship Medal, the winner turning up in Mr L B Grimstone, who beat Mr J A O'Kane in the final after a most interesting game. Following are detailed scores : First Round. Mr F Young beat Mr Bartholomew —5 up and 3 to play. Mr Grimstone beat Mr Poynter—-(S up and 4 to play. Mr J A O'Kane beat Mr J J O'Kane—3 up and Ito play. Mr W Murray heat Dr Gregg—s up and 3 to play. Second Round. Mr Grimstone beat Mr Young—■ won by 1 up. Mr J A O'Kane beat Mr Murray—--5 up and 3 to play. FINAL. Mr Grimstone beat Mr «T A O'Kane —W r n by 1 up, The season will conclude on Saturday next, when the following competition will be held :—Ladies' driving competition ; meu's approaching and putting, and driving competitions.
