Land Board.
The following business of local interest was transacted at last weed's meeting of the Waste Lands Board :
Ranger O'Neill forwarded a report on the application by James M'Guckin for a lease in perpetuity over sections 2, 10, and part 45, block I, St. Bnth ans district. —Application to be advertised; warden to be requested to report; Inspector of Mines to be ashed to define limit of the coal-bearing area. . Ranger O'Neill reported the result of his visit to St Bathaos with reference to the granting of a license over the mining reserve, block I, St Bath? ans district, to a committee,—license to issue to Messrs M Gannon, P M'Carthy, and E M'Oregor as a committee to manage this reserve in the interest of landless resident 6; rent, 20s per annum. -T Duggnn and E Wallington renewed their applications for occupation leases of IQQ acres each in block VII, louder district, part of Run No. 223 a. —Applications declined. Application to transfer land held under miscellaneous license :—License area in Leaning Rock district, Gather me Feltoa- to Harry William Felton (Qilkison and Hutton, solicitors) Granted,
