The following business of local interest was transacted at last week's meeting of the Waste Lande Board : D. M'Greger, P M'Cartby, and. M. Cannon wrote with reference to their application for a graaring license over the mining reserve, block I, St Bathans district. Letters were received from Thomas Morgan; William Mills, and the Vinegar Hill Hydraulic and Sluicing Company objecting to the granting of a license.-^-The ranger to call a meeting of those interested in the reserve, and arrange for a committee to deal: with it. Mrs A G Eraser (nee M J Ndone) applied lor.exemption from residence on small grazing run 225ff, Highfiald. —Exemption granted until September 306h.: , * An application by John Colling, jun, for an occupation lease under the Mining IMBtincW v LanU' > ' 7 ''Oc^u]^%idW i 7!i&:cii' over 10 acres* St Bathans district, was considered and granted, the rent to be suggested by the surveytr,*
