Land Board.

The following business of local interest was transacted at last week's meeting of the Waste Lands Board : S. T. Spain wrote wich reference to two cottages of two rooms each, near the homestead, Earnscleugh—Permission for removal and re erection of buildings, as requested, granted. Banger O'Neill reported on the application by ImdUw and Crawford to exchange sections 1, 6, and 11, block 111, Lauder district, for a equal area at Black Bush, adjoining section 4, block XII, and section 1, block 11, Lauder district.—Report received, and application dec ined. A. F. M'lntosh applied for section 15, 9, and 10, block V, Tiger Hill district, under lease in perpetuity.—Referred to ranger for report. R. Gilkison, on behalf of Miss M. E, Sinnamon, applied for her exemption from residence on sections 12 and 14, block IV, Tiger Hill district, as she was residing with her parents half a mile away from the section.—Exemption granted during the pleasure of the board. The board considered an application by the Otago Presbyterian Church Board of Property to purchase section 286, block I, Blackstone district.— Resolved to recommend the Governor to grant the application in accordance with the original one, under clause 115 of the Land Act; capital value 20s per acre. i?J
