SATURDAY, JUNE 18th. (Before F J Barges* Esq Warden) Adjourned from previous Courts. James M Love, water race from Chatto Creek-—Matter deferred subject to the decision of the Land. Bard re settling the land. New Business, James M'Arthur, renewal water race license 1522.—Granted, to terminate in Mr M'Arthur's freehold, Richard Holden, renewal water race license 1526—Granted. Wong Gye and another, extended claim, 3 acres, east bank of Molyneax, above Olyde.—Mr Hutton for applicant. Mr Wong Gye, sworn, stated that the reason why the claim was made so narrow was that the claim lay between the road and the river. The County Council had been notified and no objection had been raised.—Application granted. Same, water race, 1 head, east bank of Molyneax, above Clyde. Mr Hutton said tnfl„water_appliedfor_was_the leakage from the Clyde reservoir. The applicants did not ask for any right that would prejudice either the county or Pearson. The county objected to the dam which bad been built as it might damage the road Applicant promised to remove the dam if neeessary. License granted, without redress against either the county or Pearson if there is no water in the race.
