J M'Adie and others, to be registered as proprietors, water races 138b, 164b, 1598b, 4069b, 4070b, and dam 86571.—Granted. E Sapter and another, surrender extended alluvial claim 235b.—Surrender accepted and license cancelled.

MAGISTRATE'S COURT, OPHIR. (Before J M'Bnnis, Esq, S.M.) Inspector Taylor charged James Oorrigal, with having failed to keep rabbits down on his land.—Evidence having been given pro and con, His Worship adjourned the case for two months. Charles Look Chong v J Reilly; claim, £8 for cartage.—After a somewhat lengthy hearing His Worship reserved judgment.
