The following business of local importance was transacted at last week's meeting of the Waste Lands Board:— The following applications for leases under the small grazing run system were approved:—4lo6, sections 91 and 92, block i, and sections 4 and 5, block viii, Leaning Rock District, Duncan M'Lean; 4107, sections 122, 123, and 124, block ii, and section 10, block vi, Leaning Rock District, Edwin William Attfield.

Arthur Hiscock applied to be allowed to surrender his lease in perpetuity over sections 61 and 64, block x, Leaning Rock District, Earnscleugh Settlement.—Surrender accepted subject to consent of Minister. Ranger to value improvements.
