Concert.

Notwithstanding many counter attractions, the fourth annual concert in aid of the Presbyterian Sabbath School funds, held in the Church on the 28th ult., was largely patronised, and resulted most successfully. An excellent programme was submitted, each of the items being rendered in a highly pleasing manner. The programme comprised the following items •:—Organ solo, Miss Nieper; several anthems by the choir; recitation, " Mary, Queen of Scots," Mr A Budd ; duet, Masters M'Eachen and South; phonograph selections, Mr Egginton; song, Miss M'Lay; song, Miss Jean Closs; song, Mr Oalder; duet, Misses Anderson and Hansen; recitation, Master M'Lay; and two series of lantern pictures by Mr P Walker. During the interval a presentation was made to Mr W Carson, on the eve of his departure from the district. A report of this appeared in touat issue.
